I'm a freelance multimedia journalist based in Colorado. I mostly report on health, science and the environment, and have produced work as part of award-winning investigative teams. I’m currently a contributor to NBC News.
I’ve reported from the United States, Gabon and Mexico, and my work has appeared online and in print in The Guardian, NPR and Popular Science, among others. It’s also been featured on Last Week Tonight and Nightly News.
I have a MA in health and science reporting from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. Check out my capstone on humanity’s attempts to outsmart water shortages.
I grew up in the Midwest, raised by a single mother and foster care. When I’m not reporting, I’m probably outside.
